Terrigal named Australian Club of the Year at the SLSA Awards of Excellence

 

Terrigal SLSC is the 2024 Australian Surf Life Saving Club of the Year

At the Surf Life Saving Australia Awards of Excellence, held in Sydney on Saturday 9th November 2024, Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club were awarded the honour of being named the AUSTRALIAN SURF LIFE SAVING CLUB OF THE YEAR.

This is a truly momentous achievement. It follows progression from winning the Surf Life Saving Central Coast Club of the year then the NSW Surf Life Saving Club of the year earlier in 2024. The competition at every level is extremely tough with all surf life saving clubs being worthy winners who are all doing fantastic things as volunteer organisations.

To be named the top club in Australia marks a historic moment in the history of Terrigal SLSC and is a sign of even bigger things to come. To win the award, Terrigal SLSC progressed through various stages of competitive assessment and judging culminating in a presentation and group interview held in Sydney on Friday 8th November 2024. Terrigal SLSC would like to congratulate all the finalists along the way. All volunteers and all clubs are outstanding. We also congratulate our Head Coach, Ryan Quick, who was a finalist in the Australian Surf Life Saving Coach of the year after winning the NSW Award as a result of a remarkable season.

We thank all our members, supporters and the entire Terrigal community Also, Surf Life Saving Central Coast, Surf Life Saving NSW and Surf Life Saving Australia for their help, support and advice along the way. Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club – named NSW Club of the Year, 2024

At the Surf Life Saving (SLSNSW) NSW Awards of Excellence held on Saturday 24th August 2024, Terrigal Surf Life Saving Club came out on top. We were named the NSW Surf Life Saving Club of the Year. This is a momentous occasion for our club and an unexpected reward. We are absolutely thrilled and wish to congratulate every Terrigal member and supporter for their volunteerism and contributions.

To be named the top club in NSW for 2024 marks a momentous occasion and a sign of even bigger things to come. With a host of worthy members nominated, Terrigal came away with a win in the following categories.

  • Terrigal SLSC – NSW Surf Life Saving Club of the year
  • Ryan Quick – NSW Surf Life Saving Coach of the Year
  • Paul Lemmon – NSW Surf Life SAVING Master’s Athlete of the year

Age Category winners can be found under the Category Results tab  If you won a medal in your Age Category and left before the prizegiving, please email Director of Admin  and we will arrange for you to collect or receive it. Similarly if you have any feedback, please email our Director Of Admin. We will also be sending out a short Survey to all participants.
